The Price of Politics

In 2012, I collaborated with Bob Woodward, associate editor of the Washington Post on his New York Times best-seller, The Price of Politics. In his note at the beginning of the book, Bob wrote, “Rob…is one of the best natural editors and reporters I have ever worked with.”

The book chronicles the battle between the Obama administration and a Republican-led House of Representatives over the debt ceiling, which brought the US Treasury perilously close to a catastrophic bond default.

A subsequent expanded paperback edition of the book, on which I also worked, went on to become a best-seller as well.
